FAQ - How Do You Ensure Quality Control During a New Build?

We ensure quality control during a new build by staying closely involved at every stage of the project. As a small local building company, we take a hands-on approach and don’t rely on layers of management or remote oversight.

Communication From Start to Finish

We’re on site regularly and oversee the work as it progresses, making sure each stage is completed properly before moving on to the next. This helps maintain consistent standards and allows any issues to be addressed straight away rather than being left to develop into larger problems.

Careful Planning and Sequencing

Quality control starts with good planning. We make sure work is carried out in the correct order so nothing is rushed or overlooked. Each stage of the build is checked before the next begins, which helps ensure the structure, finishes and details are all completed to a high standard.

Working to Building Regulations and Approved Standards

We carry out all new build work in line with current building regulations. Where required, we coordinate inspections with building control and work alongside engineers or other professionals to ensure the build meets all necessary standards. This provides reassurance that the work is safe, compliant and built to last.

Attention to Detail at Every Stage of a New Build

From foundations through to final finishes, we pay attention to the details that affect the quality of the finished home. This includes checking workmanship, materials and finishes as the build progresses. Taking time at each stage helps ensure the final result reflects the care put into the project.

At RMW Developments, we manage new build projects across Skipton and the surrounding areas of Yorkshire with a strong focus on quality and reliability. We stay involved throughout the build and take responsibility for the standard of work delivered. If you’re planning a new build and want confidence in how quality is managed, we’re here to help.
